We were honoured to support the publication of a study conducted by 30% Club Poland in conjunction with UN Global Compact Network Poland, aimed at identifying the causes for low representation of women in upper management positions.
The results of the study were published on 6 March 2023 at a press conference and presentation with a panel discussion. The report found that the women participating in the study seek to get ahead in business, they care about professional growth, and they rarely turn down an opportunity for advancement. But they encounter numerous barriers on their career path and must struggle with hurtful stereotypes. Over half of the respondents said that their gender had caused them to be treated worse than their male colleagues, and the demands placed on women in the same positions were higher.
30% Club Poland is a social campaign for increasing diversity in corporate authorities, involving individuals at top management positions. The club has 31 members and is steadily growing. 30% Club Poland is part of the 30% Club global campaign, launched in the UK in 2010 with the aim of achieving 30% participation of women on the boards of companies in the FTSE 100 index.
