Dino Polska S.A., one of the fastest-growing grocery retail chains in Poland, debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) on April 19, 2017. The public offering of Dino was the second-largest offering by a private Polish company in GPW history and the largest public offering in Poland since December 2013. The Dino offering was also the second in the history of the Polish capital market where the final share price for institutional investors exceeded the Maximum Price. Among institutional investors participating in the offering, demand for shares significantly exceeded supply. The average reduction rate of submitted subscriptions for shares offered to individual investors was 75%. The offering included the maximum anticipated number of shares — 48,040,000 shares.
The value of the offering amounted to approximately PLN 1.65 billion, and the company’s market capitalization, based on the Final Share Price for Institutional Investors, was approximately PLN 3.4 billion. Leading financial institutions from nearly 20 countries participated in the offering. At the opening, the share price rose by 7.91% compared to the reference price, reaching PLN 36.15.
Dino Polska is the 488th company listed on the GPW and the fifth IPO on the main market this year.
